Codex is designed to focus on organizing code and text snippets. These are saved automatically: Just write the snippets and don't worry about saving them. Open Codex again and you'll see all your snippets back.

A simple application

Codex's interface is simple with a database that is plain text, formatted as JSON. It is a standalone binary: no DLLs or other installation hell. Copy the application to a flash drive and take it with you.
